Ride the Cyclone

Audition Dates: Friday, May 31, 2024

Time: Actors: 5:30PM - 7:30PM | Dancers: 7:30PM - 8:30PM

Location: Joan Lynn Dance Company (109 Sanford St., Hamden, CT 06514)

Details: Casting for 7 Speaking Characters and 4 Dancers. If understudies are cast, they will be blocked into the show. Due to the nature of the show, we encourage actors be 16 or older and dancers to be 13 and older in order to audition.

What to expect:

Acting Auditions 5:30pm - 7:30pm

All actors must be prepared with a song fitting to the character for which you are auditioning (you must provide your own backup track, or be prepared to sing acapella), will be asked to sing though some scales, work a scene, and learn a short dance phrase.

Dancing Auditions 7:30-8:30pm

All dancers must be prepared to sing through some scales,  work a scene, and learn a dance phrase (there will be no understudy dancers).
